Has to be some the best food we have eaten in our entire lives , no exaggeration , from presentation , creativity , quality of ingredients (mainly local sourced , natural/organic)Even with the big meat menu our vegetarian demands were catered to exquisitivly , the owner of this family run hotel has a heartfelt refreshing passion for food that is very rare
The staff was really friendly, and offered a real 4 star service! Good food, nice location, beautiful nature! :-) Very special honeymoon! Thank you Lectar!
This is our 2nd time here and we will surely come again. The hotel is one of a kind and the hospitality of the people is par to none. A real treasure.
We loved the historical hotel and the gingerbread museum in the basement. Our room was beautiful with real antiques and the real deal -- 500 years old. Very few people were there so we had a huge entire balcony to ourselves. It is located in a quaint small, old town which doesn't take very long to visit but it is interesting. Lake Bled is about 10 km away so it is very convenient to that, too. The staff was exceptional and could not have done more for us. We had a dog with us and this was no problem whatsoever. They basically treated us like royalty. They went out of her way in several different ways to make our visit even more perfect. This was a very wonderful, impressive experience and we loved every minute of it. If we are ever back in that area can we will most definitely stay here. These people really care about you and are extremely kind and good.
Because the hotel is so old they are are some stairs involved but this is not a problem for most people. Actually, this is part of what makes it all so beautiful and unique.
As always, the staff at Pension Lectar was outstanding.....They truly make you feel like family.
Very welcoming, family run hotel. A unique 500 year old heritage but well renovated, comfortable with great food. Centrally located for exploration of the village and surrounding countryside.
It was our second time staying at Pension Lectar. Great service, very friendly staff. Very clean, comfortable room.....old world with modern conveniences included! Awesome restaurant. Another great stay!
Friendly staff. Very interesting location in the city center, in the old house with "life museum" - gingerbread bakery which is still working. Very good breakfast buffet (local, fresh and homemade products).
museum tradition,special food typical slovenien
parking tather difficult, special pass for free parking
Fresh local produce in the breakfast, charming rooms, very ncie reception lady Meta, super location in the old town of Radovici.
The restaurant was under-staffed causing long delays between courses...and a waitress actually took 1 of our orders then turned away abruptly when someone else walked by, making us ait for 5 minutes then returning to continue. We had warned her that we needed to attend a concert at 8pm. Our main course was served at 7.40 which was stress for us to eat...and no time for coffee.
Pension Lectar has nice taverna with excellent domestic dishes. Rooms are big and comfortable made in rural style, soft bed and pillows.
Prices in taverna are very high comparing to prices of similar taverna's in Bled, and Bled is much more touristic place than Radovljica. No hair dryer in rooms.Prices of rooms relatively high comparing to 4star hotels in Bled. Breakfest service for second day was very poor. Breakfest is from 8 till 10am. We came at 9am and we waited 20 minutes to start have our meal as on buffet table were missing: glasses, cups, plates, juice, eggs, croissants, salami...and kitchen is just 5 meters from buffet table!
Great authentic feal to a nice old hotel! Fab food and good service. The old town is cool but small and won't take long to explore but not far from some great excursions and fantastic walks and views.
Extremely friendly and warm hotel staff, and great facilities! Excellent food too! We had no complaints.
Old world charm but very modest.
